Mapua Aquarium

We visited the local Mapua Aquarium “Touch the Sea”. This place is always a hit with our children, who love to put their hands into the touch pools and feel all the various underwater creepy crawlies!!

The sting rays in the main tank are fascinating to watch especially at feeding time. The feeder almost puts his fingers in the rays mouth!!

The eels have to be stroked by Hannah. Now that she has finally plucked up the courage to do it – she loves the feel of them.
