Cancellation Policy:
As you may appreciate, we are a small business establishment and cancellations have a significant impact, therefore the following fees apply:
All online cancellations incur a 20% cancellation fee
- Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 50% of total cost.
- Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% of total cost
- Please note that if we are able to accept another reservation for the dates you have requested, we will be happy to reimburse you.
- We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
Thinking of staying longer?
We regularly host people for longer stays, especially between Easter and early December. If you are moving into the area and require a short term cottage, or on a work contract, or just between homes, then the chalets can be an ideal home from home for you. We operate a very flexible longer term rental policy to fit your personal requirements. Terms and tariffs are described below. Rates quoted are based on a 2 bedroom chalet in low season (normally Easter to early December).
Tariffs for longer stays.
For a 4 week stay the rate is $500 per week
For stays of over a month the rate drops to $320 plus power after the first four weeks.
For stays of over 1 month we ask for payment in advance (weekly) and 2 weeks notice of departure.
For all stays we require credit card details in case of damage. For flexible long term stays (over 1 month) this also includes failure to fully clean the cottage at the end of stay and failure to pay the power bill for the cottage.
