Mapua Chalets holiday accommodation is located at 172 Seaton Valley Road, just off the coastal highway 60, approximately 20 minutes from Nelson airport and 30 minutes from Abel Tasman National Park.
How to Get Here
From Richmond follow state highway 60, the coastal highway to Motueka and Collingwood. Drive for 15 minutes (15 kilometres) and turn right off the highway onto Mapua Drive (sign posted Mapua and Ruby Bay). The road rises over a hill before descending towards Mapua village. Turn left at the bottom of the hill (where there is a Mapua Chalets sign) onto Seaton Valley Road. Follow Seaton Valley Road for 2.1 kilometres, and turn right at the signs for Mapua Chalets (172 Seaton Valley Road).
Follow the unsealed private road for 500 metres, keeping to the left, and following the signs to the Chalets.
If you find yourself back at the highway you have gone too far. Please note that finding the chalets in the dark is very difficult.
